What We Do
Morash Port Security assists businesses such as marine facility operators, vessel operators, or their supply chain partners, with the ongoing and emerging regulatory demands. Our business delivers training courses and risk management services.
We strive to enhance the port community workforce and businesses in a number of ways, including methods to discover deficiencies and capture opportunities for improvement. In our fast pace efforts to grow a business, time may not be assigned to determine “How are we doing?” and “What can go wrong?” We provide these answers through our auditing services and threat risk assessments (TRA).
Our compliance audits can help businesses avoid receiving administrative monetary penalties, due to oversight of deficiencies tagged to regulatory requirements. Our verification audits provide an evaluation and performance measurement of your business procedures, with confidential results and recommendations. We offer audit training, and “train-the-trainer” programs for companies that strive to use their own in-house resources to self-audit their internal procedures.
Our company can perform all aspects of maritime security to meet regulatory requirements for ports, marine facilities and vessels. This includes threat risk assessments, security assessments, security plans, security audits, security reviews, security drills, and security exercises. Our services also include a number of maritime security training courses for those individuals given responsibilities to manage a security plan, for those persons that perform security activities, and security awareness training for the remainder of the workforce.
Along with his expertise in maritime security, Mr. Morash brings to his company over 20 years of experience in marine facility design, construction, maintenance and operations. This makes us a unique company, with our dual domain knowledge of ports and security. Our company also has a number of associate partners to further extend our field of expertise and services.
Having worked so closely with the port industry for over 3 decades, we have seen how security has evolved and the emergence of best practices. We can now transfer these best practices to our future clients. Similarly, with our regulatory familiarization, having prepared hundreds of security documents, we can add efficiency and value to our customers.
Our company can keep you up to date with the changing security measures to remain compliant. Security plans are considered living documents that must adjust to the changing threat environment. Adversaries are continuously exploring new techniques to circumvent existing security measures.
