(May 27/18) May commences the start of our 8th year in business. Morash Port and Security is very pleased with this accomplishment. However, this was not possible without the support from our client base. So, we would like to extend our appreciation to the hundreds to clients that have used our services and the thousands of students that have taken our training courses.
(Nov.07/16) Morash Port and Security team are pleased to announce two new courses. Both courses are designed to provide a consolidated course to interested persons with interest in a basic understanding of maritime security compliance. This is ideal for management personnel in government, companies or even the public wishing to understand how maritime security works or how it may impact their company or organization. Course 701 is a half day course offering a basic overview at the operator level and course 702 is a full day course with more detailed information at the port level. These courses are an opportunity to assist persons not regulated to take specific training courses necessary under the Marine Transportation Security Regulations but still have a valid interest in understanding what maritime security compliance is all about. (Apr.05/16) As the Atlantic Chair of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transportation in North America (CILTNA) I will be networking at their Montreal conference events next month. This is a great opportunity having the International Convention May 8 - 10 followed by our annual Canadian Outlook Conference May 11th. What a time to get future insight on global transportation developments. As an experienced person in the maritime industry, it would be great to see other marine folks attend these events in Montreal. See you there.

In accordance with our Instructional Standards Policy, our training committee meet once a year to review all our courses and update them for each upcoming year. We are pleased to have Dave Fisher of DJ Security Consultant Limited join our committee. With this we are able to deliver standardized training all across Canada.
(June 26/15) Is your security plan amended to include new regulatory requirements for Canadian flagged vessels on a domestic voyage. These changes are coming into force on July 1, 2015.
(Sep.26/14) On September 9, 2014, Transport Canada granted Morash Port and Security provisional approval to instruct "Vessel Personnel with Security Responsibilities" training course. The schedule for this new course is available on our training page. Our qualified instructors are ready to offer this course to vessel personnel across major locations in Canada. The first class of this VPWSR 1.5 day course is scheduled for Nov.06 and 07 in the Halifax / Dartmouth area.
(May 01/14) We have two milestones to announce today. This is our third anniversary of our company. We are also pleased to announce our third associate instructor, David Fisher from Victoria, B.C. David will be an instructor for our marine facility customers on the west coast.

The first session is to be held April 11, 2014 in Halifax. Refer to the course brochure on the training page for relevant course information.
